Airborne TV launches Ferrari mobile service

Kent-based Airborne TV has launched a mobile content service dedicated to Ferrari enthusiasts.

Ferrari videos, wallpaper and engine ringtones can be downloaded onto UK and Irish mobiles at FerrariMobile.tv.

The most popular download since its launch is a comedy sketch featuring an Alan Partridge
impersonator interviewing a Tiger Woods impersonator about Ferrari. The indie is in talks with a UK channel about developing the spoofs into

a satirical sketch show.

Airborne has previously produced and distributed several motoring programmes for clients, including Ferrari Fury on Men & Motors.
"The mobile deal means we can cut out the middleman," said Burrage.
"We don't need to wait for a commission to supply our content to the consumer. It's very liberating."

The service is currently available to mobile handsets in the UK and Ireland but will be rolling out internationally from November.
